The Busan Fire Department recently graduated 13 members from a rigorous 3 week helicopter and land based Rescue Swimmer course.

Air Rescue Concepts in conjunction with Ocean Rescue Systems provided both helicopter, boat, and shore based swimmer training. Using the Busan Fire Departments BK-117 along with a  AS365 Dolphin from Seoul, students were able make multiple cast and recoveries , litter and rescue basket evolutions.

The helicopter crews were also trained in swimmer deployment , recovery, hoist operations and low level flight over water.
